Maria Teresa Busch

Maria is a Certified Coach specializing in Career and Life Transition. She has worked with people in various capacities and from all walks of life. Her initial training has been in Social Work & Counseling. She holds an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. Much of her experience started in California where she worked with families, adolescent groups as well as individuals. She worked with Pacific Bell in training, development and phone center management. This lead to her current role with a mutual funds investment firm. She has successfully created a role there as a Corporate Coach. This has allowed her to counsel, coach, conduct training, and develop managers in the areas of Performance Management, Employment Law & Leadership Development. Many of the young professionals there also utilize her expertise for career development, goal setting and attainment.

Maria values using her intuition and creativity to enrich the lives of others. Since she was a young child she has believed in the of equality of all people. Her dedication to others has shown her that all people possess the ability to realize and reach their dreams. Her life has taken her up and down many paths and all of them have taught her valuable lessons she enjoys using in her work with others. Her vision for her coaching practice is to be the catalyst for anyone she works with to “know and live” their greatest potential. She has worked with single Moms balancing attending college, working and raising families. Through her work with them they have realized their strengths and achieved their dreams. She is a graduate of CoachU and is awaiting certification. As an active member of the local ICF she lead the success of the First Annual Coaching Fair. Maria lives in Cave Creek, Arizona with her 17 year old son, Joaquin Rivera. She has always been a single parent and truly believes a woman and mother can do whatever she believes she can do. Her son will be attending NAU in the Fall to study Business/Marketing. Her interests include ice hockey travel, yoga, meditation, museums, physical fitness, journaling and writing. Maria is also a Freshstart and Chrysalis Mentor.
